There is a simple test for any builder in Bali: ask how you will know what happened on your site this week. Our answer is written into the contract. Every villa we build runs the same reporting rhythm — a structured photo and video report every Friday, a live schedule you can measure us against, and a WhatsApp group where the site manager who actually runs your build answers you himself. Most of our owners are in Australia, Singapore or Europe while their villa goes up, and "trust me, it's going fine" is not a report. Much of what is sold as construction supervision on this island exists because owners do not trust their builder; we would rather remove the reason. Supervision is built into our own process, and if work gets covered before it is photographed, that is our failure — and we treat it as one.

What This Service Includes

A Fixed Friday Report

Every Friday you receive the same structured update: photos of each active zone, a short walkthrough video, percentage complete against the programme, next week's targets and any decision we need from you.

A Schedule You Can Hold Us To

The signed construction programme is the baseline. Each report shows progress against it, so if we slip you see it the same week — together with the recovery plan, not an excuse at month six.

Hidden Works on Camera

Rebar, waterproofing membranes, conduit and pipe runs are photographed and signed off before concrete, screed or render covers them. Nothing on our sites gets closed unrecorded.

Your Site Manager on WhatsApp

One group: you, the site manager and the project lead. Questions are answered by the person on the ground within one working day — no call centre, no "we'll pass that on".

How It Works

  1. Baseline programme signed

Before mobilisation you approve a construction programme with milestones and payment stages. Every later report is measured against this document, not against a moving target.

  2. Daily site log

The site manager keeps a daily record of crews on site, deliveries, completed work and weather. Rain days are logged as they happen, so schedule changes trace back to facts rather than excuses.

  3. Friday owner report

By the end of each Friday the structured report lands on WhatsApp: photos by zone, a walkthrough video, progress against programme, spend on approved changes and the plan for next week.

  4. Decisions in writing

Every change you request or approve is confirmed in the thread with its price and time impact before anyone builds it. The chat history doubles as the project's paper trail.

  5. Milestone verification

When a payment stage is reached we walk it against the checkpoint list from our quality inspections, photograph the evidence and only then invoice. Money follows verified work.

What It Costs

Supervision and owner reporting are included in every construction contract we sign — there is no separate line for it, because we do not treat transparency as an optional upgrade. On design-and-build projects the reporting rhythm sits inside the project management scope of your turnkey contract. If you are comparing builders, ask each of them to show you a real weekly report from a live site: we are happy to share a recent one with the owner's details removed, along with the stage-payment structure it reports against — see the pricing page for how stages are typically split.

Where It Fits in Your Project

Reporting is one layer of the wider project management & supervision system that runs every site we operate. It is part of each turnkey villa construction contract from setting-out to the last walk-through; the checkpoints it documents are set by our structural and quality inspections, and its final edition is the snag-list report at villa handover.

What Owners Ask Us

How detailed is the weekly report?
A typical report carries 30–60 photos organised by zone, a two-to-five-minute walkthrough video, percentage progress against the signed programme, spend on any approved changes, next week's plan and the decisions we need from you. On structural weeks it also attaches checkpoint sign-offs and test results.
Can I talk to the site manager directly?
Yes. One WhatsApp group connects you, the site manager and the project lead for the whole build. Site questions are answered by the person actually running your villa within one working day — urgent water or safety issues the same day.
I can't visit Bali during the build. Is that a problem?
No — most of our owners visit once or not at all before handover. Reports, video calls from site and written milestone approvals are designed so the build never waits for your travel plans, and a representative or property manager you appoint can join any walk-through.
Do you supervise villas being built by other contractors?
No. This system is how we supervise our own sites and it is inseparable from our contract — we will not take responsibility for another contractor's workmanship. If you are still choosing a builder, use this page as a checklist of the reporting you should demand from whoever you hire.
What happens when the schedule slips?
You see the slip in that week's report, with the cause and a recovery plan. Weather moves dates under the contract terms; planning or crew failures are ours to recover at our cost. What never happens is a quiet drift you only discover at month six.
